No prob!  Here's a sneak peek...

Champion Traits

When a warrior lives in a land touched by magic and monstrosity, he learns that his abilities must rise above and beyond normal limits just to survive.  Champion Traits represent such training, experience, or supernatural boon which grants superior ability on a heroic scale.

Acrobat – This model is an expert in gymnastics and feats of tumbling, jumping, and balance.  The model with this Trait gains a +3 CBT bonus when making all Jump, Climb, Falling, or Disengage checks. This Trait may not be used if this model is subject to the Heavy Trait.
5 SP

Claw Fighter – Extensive training and field experience with the Fighting Claws Gear has given this model the ability to inflict terrible wounds on its opponents.  This model must be equipped with two Fighting Claws, and may not use any other Weapons for the duration of the battle.  This Trait includes the Two Weapon Fighting Trait and also grants the Fighting Claws the Buckler Trait.  15 SP

Combat Reflexes (S) – Training or supernatural ability has given this model improved defenses in Close combat.  This model may add between +1-3 points to its CBT Rating when it is a Defender in Close combat and not subject to the Heavy Trait.
3/6/9 SP

Combat Shooter – A model with this Trait is an expert at fighting in Close combat with a Ranged Weapon.  Any Ranged Weapons used by this model gain the Sidearm Trait and uses all applicable rules.  This Trait does not work on Thrown Weapons.
15 SP

Is there any chance that these rules would allow me to play with one of GW's or Forgeworld's big monsters?  I'm looking for a skirmish game that gives me an excuse to buy a Terrorgheist and a Necrosphinx.

In the final version of the rules, yes!  I want my fantasy supplement to allow anyone to create damn near anything they can imagine!  If you want your entire force to be one big monster, this game's for you.  :D

I'll have an announcement to make along these lines in a few days, so stay tuned.

Free is my favorite price point! Looking forward to seeing what this has to offer.

Awesome looking stuff! Already got the wheels turning on what sort of force to make with this... which brings up a question.

I know that you note in the rules that any Inborn Traits with the same effect that are not stackable do not stack, IE, two occurrences of Durable as spelled out in the rules. However, does this also apply to negative aspects of the trait? For example, if I was to make a model with the Brute and Ratskin traits, would Obtuse only affect the model once, thus lowering its maximum command by one for the model of its type, or would it apply twice, lowering it by two?

Based on how the rules are written, I would assume that it only applies once, but I'd just like to clarify.

@Phreedh- Sorry bro, I have been swamped getting this thing out and didn't notify you.  I meant to, but I'm also trying to get the print copy set up on Wargame Vault.

@Black Sheep - You are correct, downside traits do not stack.  So if you have multiple traits that have Obtuse included you only get limited once.

Anyone else have quetions?  We're at over 100 downloads in the first 24 hours.  Someone has to have a question.  lol

Thanks for the clarification!

This is all looking great so far, though it does make me wonder if the fantasy supplement is still intended to be played at 500 points since it seems like the points values are much higher.

We're using 750 Supply Points.  We're also debating the use of the Force Organizations.  The EH booklet removes those limits mostly, but we'll see how that goes.
