Title: Hellenistic archers ready - Aventine
Post by: Aventine on 19 June 2012, 05:38:26 PM
We have just completed the skirmishing archer section in our Skirmisher section. There are 6 packs in total one of which is a command set.

We also did them in linothorax and helmets

The command set

They can be had as a unit deal of 16 mixed figures as well.

Very nice, a good variety between un/armoured and they look like good crisp casts as well.

They're nice, Keith, though I wish you guys would have made more different poses, they're a bit too similar for my taste.
Slingers are coming?

Yes I know what you are saying but more poses takes a lot more time, we have 24 different figures for the archers and 1 pack of slingers and another of stone throwers. If you mix the archers together then they are not that bad. The SK02 pack have different poses

(http://www.aventineminiatures.co.uk/catalog/images/SK02.JPG) I did not want to put all the photos up.
The slingers have 3 different poses
(http://www.aventineminiatures.co.uk/catalog/images/SK07.JPG)
as do the stone throwers

These took long enough and we are only now getting around to the next phase of EIRs.
