Title: BoB in 20/15mm?
Post by: TheBlackCrane on 28 June 2012, 11:51:09 AM
Much as I like the many 28s there are for BoB, not least in the fact that one can throw together most any forces one would want with the ranges of 28s available, I wonder about branching into smaller scales, largely on a space/cost basis.

20mm, and discounting 1/72 plastics, there's IT Figures with a pretty large range of WWI/RCW, but I don't know about quality and some of the pictures I've seen of their RCW make me a little cautious. Does anyone else make suitable figures in 20mm? Thinking about it, I've never seen Tumbling Dice's WWI range - anyone have any thoughts on those?

15s - Peter Pig would be my first port of call for RCW or Polish-Soviet and so on, but looking further East is there much about which would work for BoB in 15mm?

Don't think I'd go any smaller than 15,  but I'm curious as to the possibilities for 20s or 15s...

Cheers!
Rob

The Tumbling Dice WW1 range is excellent. There are a lot of 20mm metal manufacturers to choose from, but surprising as a scale it gets little coverage. I suggest you ask this question on the Guild Forum  ( www.guildwargamers.com (http://www.guildwargamers.com) ) that is where most of the 20mm fans and a lot of the manufacturers hang out.

You can find most of plastic references in 1/72 here:

Hope it will be useful.
