Finally. After years of adding unpainted lead to the ever growing lead mountain I managed to paint at least four of the minis for my Back of Beyond campaign. So please don't tell me about 'teutonic efficiancy'...    8)

I'm very fan of your painting style, and I already said it several times so maybe I can temper now  :wink:

So, very high standard and clean work as always ; the faces particularly are great, but I thing there's too much contrast in the clothes. Maybe it's the pic's light, but they look like lava to me, as if they were in fire.

A very light disappointement here, but you posted so much great minis these last days that we always wait for wonders  :love:

And, as we say in French,(approximately)

By the way, are you attending to Tactica this year? Or are you coming to Berlin by any chance? You have to give me a call and show me some tricks, I'll take care of beer an Pizza ;-)

Lovely depth of colour in those saffron robes. They amost look on fire. You certainly have an good eye for the colour spectrum.

Your right, Matt. I am not totally satisfied with the robes either. I would have prefered more red rather than orange and less contrast. But after the first monk I just stayed with this colour scheme...

Hmmm, beer! I am not quite sure about Tactica yet. I promised my girl friend a short holiday trip in the Tactica week. I suggested to go to Hamburg (and the Tactica) but she doesn't seem to be very thrilled about the idea...  :roll:
Maybe I'll come to Berlin for the DFB-Final... depends on the finalists though.

I really like the vivid colours.

It is

* Foundry Tan Shade (A14) as base color
* a layer of GW Flesh Wash
* highlighting with Foundry Tan Shade (A14), Foundry Tan Light (C14) and Foundry Ochre Shade (4A)

As Foundry Tan (14B) does not work here imho I mixed an additional layer from A14 and C14.

beautiful painted miniatures.
Please try to visit the Tactica.  Hamburg is better than Berlin. Especially for a visit with the better half . And while your girlfriend is shopping in Hamburg you can spend lots of time with Zoogla who is in love with you  :love:
You can color your bodies with Valejo and foundry  paint  ...LOL

Hmm. I hope Zoogla is not much bigger than 28mm then! Foundry/Valejo colors are expensive....  :lol:
