Later this month we'll be bringing you the first of our Armed Minions.
We felt that after three years, the two original minions might need some reinforcements. So Mark Evans has started off with four riflemen and four with SMGs.
We've kept them simple to use for a variety of purposes. Modelled with a belt, holster and a couple simple pockets and a badge on the arm. You can always trim that off if not required.
Mark admits his Camera-Fu was not at it's best, but I will post some pics of the masters when they arrive. Don't get confused by this first pic, Mark's just showing them with heads on. He's already converted one of the heads in the rifleman set with a nice 70s perm and 'tache!

They are provided headless but come with a head on the tab as shown in picture two. Use that or any of our other heads depending on what you need. Here's a close up of the basic four heads in anyone one set of four.

Price and release date to follow.

Oh, yes, those should come in very handy. I particularly like the heads - but when you redo the photos, might I suggest keeping them in the same order from shot to shot?
-
Yep once I get the masters I'll get some decent pics and order appropriately.
-
Oh Cool, grease guns :-*
-
Hmm....these look reaaally nice. I think i just added another factions to my Vietnam Project which has an already diverse and dealy mix. Crooked Dice huh? Where are you based?

There are two of us at opposite ends of the UK - Kent and Dundee. Everything is available online at www.crooked-dice.co.uk and our next show is Colours.
-
They will be incredibly useful for a number of post-war settings, so many thumbs up here!!! :-*
-
Great additions Karl. Just what I need.
-
Excellent figures and though it's not my thing the figures on your site are wonderful - youve got the look of several tv show spot on and the cover of the rules is a work of art.
Well done sir!

Okay thanks. With regards to both places i have some good (and in the case of Dundee rather romantic) memories. I'll check out the website and see what else you have got. Cheers.
-
Wow! Those will come in handy. Must buy a few. Cheers!
-
Cheers all! We've some more planned for later this year: 4 Handweapons (batons and pistols) and a Support pack (Radio Operator, Bazooka, Grenadier and a Dog Handler - plus the dog!).
-
Is there a chance you could also make a pack of heads wearing construction helmets

Any chance of adding a machine gun type weapon to that list?

Very nice. Just one small, picky, point. Unless you are removing it, holding an SLR by the magazine isn't a very comfortable, natural or practical pose in terms of weight distribution and balance. Not a great idea if you intend to hit anything.

Well, they are minions after all...

At least that's only the kneeling pose, which I don't want anyway!
There's a possible conflict here for minions armed with Stens or Sterlings. In real life, you don't hold them by the magazine. In the movies and on TV, everyone holds them by the magazine. So what should a 7TV crew do?

Now I have a vision of stormtrooper training on the Death Star. 'No, you idiots – stop holding them like that!'
lol

Who says he's going to fire in that position? He could be changing the mag in which case it's spot on. Lovely figure.
Oh wait it's 7TV, they never run out of ammo. I take that back - lousy pose :D
-
The M3 'Grease Gun' has a magazine receiver shaped like a grip, holding it by the barrel is not recommended. The Sten and Sterling both have a sleeve over the barrel and smaller receivers. Regardless though, the TV and Hollywood style is to hold any sub-machine gun by its magazine... it's like a rule or something.
:D

7TV always strives for Hysterical Accuracy wherever possible.

The new Minions are now in store!

Well if they do Sterlings, not Stens, they should be held in the proper James Bond movie pose.

ps no stens
-
also a couple more Minion Technicians (also without stens) would be nice.
-
These are excellent. Now please do some all female minions in spandex like in the bottom left of this picture (but without headresses). My villains need hot minions.

Hysterical Accuracy
You should probably copyright that... lol
