Wargames Factory plastic infantry 1707- 14 War of the Spanish Succession, I,ve just made up and primed my first figures and thought some members would be interested to see them. I ,ll try and slap a bit of paint on tommorow. I was,nt impressed with this company,s Zulu War range but I think these are better and I,m thinking Spanish or French in America or a pirate scenario - what think you?

I was hesitant about these models at first, but after grabbing a box of infantry and box of cavalry to kit-bash for Pirates (works quite well actually)...I was quite shocked at how good the box contents are. Lots of heads, options, etc. Granted the infantry are a bit stale, but they're cheap and made to be marching in large units, not skirmishing. Overall, some excellent boxes. I don't know if they'll carry through with their promise of W.S.S. artillery...

Yes I was pleasently suprised and am now looking for the cavalry box, I beiieve they have options for cuirassier. It,s strange how these plastic kits can lead you on into a new range. Dismounted dragoons and horse holders seem to be calling to me.

they are quite nice. Tony sent me a couple to paint up when he still worked there. The only thing I really dislike are the huge eyes :o

Yes that struck me as well but surely a dark wash over will rectify any problem, at £17 for 36 foot I guess I can live with it. A couple more figures to go on with, my apologies to any members who object to half finished items, but my aim is to show the possibilites of what is a new range to me.

they look fine to me. And I see you have also discovered the Conflix buildings, they are absolutely brilliant!
-
Yes they inspired me to make a few building to fit in with them.
