Meansonofabitch?
Awsome work, :)
-
Oh man, I love it!!
What manufacturer? What scale?
-
Reaper if I'm not mistaken and 28mm ;)
Excellent work, the green skin works great with the rusty armour. Speaking of which, I think he needs a piece of steel whool and a bucket of anti-rust paint sooner or later ;)
-
I don't think it is Reaper, but a Brother Vinni design. He is a member here.

Actually you are right, the Reaper one has a different pose :)
-
Very nice. :-*
-
Thanks guys, it is, ofcourse, the Brother Vinni's mini.
I'm hoping he'll make a supermutant brute and/or master in the future to keep this one company. ;D
-
Nice work. I hope to see some other weapons as well for the super mutants. I really like his Brotherhood of Steel minis as well.
-
He is definitely good looking, for a super mutant i mean. :)
-
Excellent, love the rust effect, I find it very hard to paint rust myself

The paint used is Lifecolor "Rust - Light Shadow 1"
The local modelshop carries it and the owner recommended it.
Lovely paint to work with. I'll better go get the other rust colors before they dissappear (shop closes end this or next month :()
-
Excellent stuff! That is a real Romper Stomper.
-
A very fine figure, super painting.
Could you please say how tall he is?

Yes, I probably should have taken a photo with a reference fig, don't I. ::)
The website states him as 50mm high. (probably because the hammer sticks out a bit)
To the top of his head I measure 48mm. So, yes, he is enormous.
-
Yeah he's huge, here is mine next to a Paladin and Enclave troop for scale

I hope it's ok to post that pic Zizi?

It certainly is.
I like the skintone on yours, not too keen on the all bare metal though, seems to clean and predominant (then again, I'm still in doubt if I didn't overdo the rust on mine)
-
Nice properly grungy supermutant zizi666! :-*
Great weathering on the armor and the hammer.

I have some Tamiya rust powder but it doesn't appear to want to work. His armour isn't quite as clean as it appears there, it is drybrushed with tin bitz and a devlan mud wash, but I definitely prefer your metal. Prefer my skin tone though, yours is a bit luminescent
I've got a second Super mutant model and it's a pain finding a gun to scale, I wish Brother Vinni did a gun for him!
-
That looks great!
I was looking up that paint you mentioned and found this tutorial here....

Finaly continued working on Supermutants and added these 2.
Minor conversion on both.
The first is a HF Jotun, with a GW Space Orc arm w/ shotgun; a hole drilled in the left hand to accomodate fine copperwire acting as hair for the mantic ghoul head. The torso on the ground is an Army Painter body part.
The second is a Dreamblade mini (Butcher) that got new hands (one Space Orc w/ bolter and one Space Marine open hand) and a scratchbuilt rebar club.
I also removed the buttoned front of the shirt to represant a bare chest. Oh, this ugly bastard will be a boss figure that goes by the name Elio for obvious reasons. lol

And a group shot with the first born :

Great to see an update on this Zizi :)
That boss SM is creepy! He's like Papa Lazarou in green!
How'd you do the rebar club?
-
copper thread wrapped around thin welding rod for the rebar. foam for the concrete, to which I glued fine sand to the sides. tape is just paper wrapped around it all and coated with PVA.
Here's the unpainted version :

Consider the Butcher idea stolen - I have one of those in my plastic figures bin. He is going to get added to the crew in my Fallout game now.

Very nice, esp the rust.
Been a while since I wandered the Wasteland. X-Com Enemy Unknown is my new PC addiction.
-
Lots of Battlefield 3 the last months, but since a week or two it's Far Cry 3.
Also gave Hawken a try (mechbattles, free MMO) and was pleasantly surprised (only question is how long it 'll take for some retarded hackers/cheaters to show up)
-
Great job! Good looking SMs!
