Got myself a new website/blog (http://eldritchepistles.blogspot.co.uk/) about collecting vintage Citadel. If you can't be bothered with all that blogging stuff you might like to take a look at the stuff in the galleries. The Bryan Ansell stuff is already on the Collecting Citadel Miniatures wiki (http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Bryan_Ansell%27s_Collection) but most of the John Blanche (http://http://thecitadelcollector.co.uk/zen/index.php?album=john-blanche) stuff is unseen (and there's lots of it).
cheers

Great site Steve. Looking forward to watching it develop!
-
I'm challenging myself to post something "of interest" at least weekly...
-
Certainly one to watch - and the Blanche gallery was a pleasant surprise. Some cool miniatures/paintings in there.
-
Very nice Steve. Your collection is outstanding!
Cheers,

Very inspiring!

Cool idea. Are you looking to have other peoples old citadel pics added to yours?

I've got lots more new pics of Bryan and John's stuff, which I'll be posting on my new blog (http://eldritchepistles.blogspot.co.uk/ (http://eldritchepistles.blogspot.co.uk/)). I'm happy to post them here too if people would prefer to see pics in this thread rather than follow a blog (it will also be on the Frothers forum). Here are some previews:

Inspiring!! And that chariot is impressive!!! :-* :-* Thanks for posting it.

Love those knights! Talk about memory lane, I look at a lot of those minis on your blog and still have the White Dwarf mags that they were advertised in. Do you have any more pics of the chariot?
Amazing blog,
Damien

While this is a WONDERFUL collection of BEAUTIFULLY painted retro pieces, it is even more a glimpse into the Craft/Hobby as it once was. GREAT STUFF!

It sure did seem that way!

Lovely blog and very much filled with wonderful nostalgia. I love the character of the old miniatures, it's rare to see that with a lot of the ranges now days.

No, but I'm hoping to get some detail shots if the opportunity presents itself.

What a great collection; particularly nice to see old Xaxus painted up. That first Compendium was a real eye-opener and I read it to death.
