Just got a few packs of my first Napoleonic figures ever - Wargames Foundry British. But...they seem to have been done by two different sculptors...is that right? Seems odd to me. Anyone know what's up with them or who sculpted them? Some look like small-ish Perry style figures, while others are slightly larger.

As far as I am aware it was the Perry twins - can you post a pic?

If your pack is numbered B145 to B159, then the figures are the old War of 1812 British sculpted by Aly Morrison and released in the late 1980's/early 1990's. The three naval troops packs (B140 to 142) were done by Will Hannah - I think - and everything else was the work of the Perry twins.

Didn't know that that, thanks for the info. Anyone know what happened to Will Hannah? Is he still sculpting? I really liked his style.

Arthur: Thanks for that. Makes sense to me now. Good news is there has been a real shake-up at Foundry and they have lowered prices (and postage!) and are bringing back their historical figures. So...maybe they will re-release the entire 1812/Napoleonic line.
Dragon: sorry don't have pics. Foundry has pics of both lines on their website still.
