A French Landing in the West Country is engaged by a couple of British armoured battalions and an infantry division.
Game of Land Ironclads we had today. The coloured patches are an attempt at fields, do tell me what you think, not so sure myself. If I'm brutally honest we got quite tired of the rules after a while, they do somewhat flounder when using very large numbers of units. perhaps some work is needed. Nevertheless, looked quite impressive.

Lovely, LOVELY

For the fields I would try to give them a border and maybe put them on a more sturdy base. Also, make them a bit more irregular, large square fields tend to be a more modern occurrence :)
Impressive amount of kit you have there, I've often thought about doing gaming in this scale but I know I would get bogged down in making the scenery too accurate ::) lol
cheers

The fields were very much a spur of the moment thing, I'll have a think about working on them.
2mm is quite impressive but I must admit we've gone off it a bit of late - the way we've based them, anyway, far too many little bits to muck about with. Perhaps a bit of rebasing is required.
