I am putting together a scenario using a new Lurker "The Plague Doctor"
The figure I am using is coming from CP Models:

Now I know that the plague doctor is supposed to be a healer, but I am turning the concept into a lurker.
I like to include miniatures related to a theme for my games, so I am wondering what other miniatures I could use that would fit in with the Plague Doctor.
Obviously a rat swarm and giant vermin will work nicely (any suggestions on who makes these figures), but what else could work on the theme?
Any suggestions and recommendations for figures would be most welcome.

Foundry has a collection with plague doctors in it, there may be some other figures in the set you might find useful.

Maybe some minions, diggers and such, people that were burying the bodies...degenerates spring to mind, maybe?
And poison rules, poison (err...plague!) for everyone!

Bushido have rat swarms and also a Nezumi model who comes with 3 smaller rat swarm bases

Now I know that the plague doctor is supposed to be a healer, but I am turning the concept into a lurker.
I would go with Ghouls and Wraiths/ghostly spirits. Use an "undead" theme without going down the all too common path of zombies/skeletons.
Blacktree do a really good Grave diggers cart and equipment set, their ghouls are also pretty good (but Heresy are far better). Gypsies would also work if painted in suitably dark colours.

Some wretched minions in an advanced state of Leprosy, with ragged clothes and bandages. Probably not too P.C., but it'S just a game, right ? ;)

There was a mini plague doctor type figure in the old GW chaos familiars that may work? I possibly have a couple in the attic

Cool! Some quick ideas:
1) Give him new equipment:
-Plague bombs (glass spheres filled with diseases)
-Injector (a big needle filled with diseases)
-Alchemical suit (makes him immune to all fire based attacks and effects)
-Mysterious flute (gives him command to all Rat swarms and Giant Rats)
-Talisman of the Dead (which attracts swarms of flies...gives enemies -1 to hit him with all attacks)
2) Use the giant rat TheShadow posted, but with the stats of a Werewolf

4) Make a new kind of 'Scene of Horror', related to the Plague.
5) New Lurker: Swarm of flies (basically a model that cannot make attacks, but inflicts a -1 on all attack rolls on enemies within 5")

Heresy bile demons would be perfect summoned ones for him. Add plague zombies too and you should be good to go.

One good thing about creating my own lurkers is that the people I play with can't read the rule book to learn what the strengths and weaknesses are >:D
