Because I'm bored and one can never have too much candy, I thought I'd add to the 15mm Viking frenzy.
Here are some more of the characterful, but slightly crude, Baudea Vikings that I painted for a Gentleman late last year.

Shortly after he received them he abandoned 15mm and sold off his hoard. I didn't think they were that bad.

Hey there, it's great brushwork you have to present.
But I think 15mm minis needn't be presented in closeup as they are meant to look good in masses on the table.
But nevertheless, you do paint very well!

That is a lovely looking army, I would be very happy to have something like that in my collection. The guy you painted them for probably got disenchanted with the rules more than the figures.
They look like DBA basing, which is actually tiresome and pretty dull for Shieldwall warfare. 2 equal sized armies, same troop types, same composition, same deployment becomes a matter of he who rolls + wins.
Vikings are a much more entertaining army under WAB or Saga rules where there is more personality.

Lovely painting job!!

I love your work :-*

Some excellent paintwork there!
I wouldn't take it personally about the sale of the figs... I have moved away from 15mm myself... part of the ebb and flow of my terribly poor attention span that many gamers can relate to :)

Very nice figures - I particularly like the tent on the 'home' base. Is it scratch built or where can I get one or two?
-
I didn't buy it, but I believe it's available from Baueda Wargames(the same manufacturer as the figures).

Great work, I love the tent.
And the figures too, of course! :D
