Title: War of 1812 Documentary on U.K. television.

I've just noticed that there's a programme on the Yesterday channel tonight about the war between Britain and America.  It's called "Explosion 1812: the War of the Worlds" and is on Freeview channel 12 at 10:00pm in the U.K.  No idea if it's any good but just thought you'ld like to know.

Yes it was on here not too long ago. Really well done show not on the War of 1812, but rather on the Battle of York (now Toronto) and the explosion of the powder magazine mostly; Still worth watching.

I totally agree with you - I was expecting an overview of the whole War of 1812 and not just part of it but all in all not a bad documentary.  Perhaps I was reading more into the title than there was.
It looks like I'll have to read up the the subject to get a clearer picture.
