Greetings everyone,
I had this beer ad I wanted to use on the side of a building. This particular beer was around during the civil war.
I built this wall for the beer ad and added the rest of the building.

Looks great! And it's pretty good beer to boot!

Aye, and glad to see Marylander's can finally enjoy in it.
As for the beer ad sign on the building. Is that an ad from that period in time? :-)

Looks great! The weathering on the sign is excellent and beyond what I could do.

Very very cool building! Well done and painted. I love the ad especially. I live not too terribly far from Pottstown in PA and pretty much everyone in PA drinks Yeungling. Enough that you don't even need to say the name, you just say you want a "lager" when you go out and that's what you get. Except those people out in Pittsburgh who drink Iron City Beer (shudder). I think they use steel mill water for that stuff.
I hand painted pretty much the same exact design for a billboard for them back when I painted billboards for Penn Outdoor Advertising (this was late 90s). They gave me a free t-shirt too.
It was known as Eagle Brewery during the ACW but changed to Yeungling in the 1870s.
I'm more of a single malt scotch drinker myself, but Yeungling isn't bad :)

Great Building, and I keep Yeungling in the fridge at all times.

Nicely done! Looks almost authentically real in some of the photos.

Very nice painting and weathering indeed! Keep it up, I love reading/watching your stuff.

The wall with the beer ad is tremendous. Is it a decal? If so, it's applied over the planking seamlessly.

thanks for the comments on this building...Steve, the beer ad is from a 19th century advertising website, basically just a copy off the computer, glued to cardboard and blended in
