I just ordered the Blue Moon 15mm/18mm line of Musketeer figures from my local dealer. I already have a wonderful French town and farm in the form of the Landmark Normandy buildings, but I wanted a French chateau as well. A couple weeks ago at the swap meet I found what I think will do the job. It is a Disney Cinderella castle. I just finished it so I'm posting a front and real of the completed piece as well as one photo of what the castle looked like before modification/repair and painting. Hope you enjoy it. It was a fun project.(http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p621/weddingpics16/IMG_0679.jpg)(http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p621/weddingpics16/IMG_0681.jpg)(http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p621/weddingpics16/IMG_0682.jpg)

joroas, to be perfectly honest about this, the real driving force behind this project was to see if I could make a pink and baby blue Cinderella castle into something a bit more gritty with the addition for a few simple modifications and some paint. It was a lot of fun and given the fact that the castle itself only cost $2 at the swap meet I'm really happy with the outcome. Glad you enjoyed it too. I appreciate the kind words. Thanks so much for writing. Richard

$2! Bargain. Still shows what you can do with something like that. Don't let Walt know, though. lol

That's superb! Well done.

Barks, thanks so much for writing and the generous words. I should correct one thing it said in my initial description of the toy. It has been pointed out to me that this is Sleeping Beauty's castle not Cinderella's. Alas... Richard
