I played a small Hail Caesar game last night.
Saxons against Welsh for ownership of a hill.
Here's a couple of pictures:

"A small game."
You are kidding, right.
Love the look of the battle, very well done.
Enjoyed looking over your blog.

Thanks gents, glad you enjoyed it and the blog.

Well we played to a conclusion in under three hours, so I guess average size :D
It's certainly small compared to the El Cid game we played a couple of weeks ago and the game we'll be putting on at Partizan in a couple of weeks will be more than twice the size!
I'm very fortunate to play with guys with large collections!
HC is also great for the "let's put all our soldiers down" type of games.
