Dalauppror (from http://dalauppror.blogspot.co.uk/ (http://dalauppror.blogspot.co.uk/)) was kind enough to send me the miniature for painting it and for taking some pictures for my blog. I´ll be painting another two of them, one for another person (I´ll tell his name if he gives me permission) and another one for my own collection.

Great figure.
Fine painting, thanks for sharing.

Absolutely stunning!
We have builder working here on Lard Island so all of my paints are in storage and I haven't painted my own Arthur yet. I can assure you it won't be anywhere near as beautiful as that.

Very nice.
OTT, has anyone painted the Musketeer Wiglera or Scop and have a/any pic/s? :)
-
Very, very nice job! The shield is particularly fine!
Mine will probably end up as a unit commander, as I have gazillions of Arthurian Romano-Brit characters already and I still haven't painted the Salute Mordred AND there is Musketeer Bill's upcoming Arthur model (not to mention his lovely new Saxon heroes...)
@Poitier50: See below...hope that helps.

All I can say is thank you. I'm the winner here. Andrés has done great work on the shield. I asked for a particular design and Andrés suggested he create something by hand. All I can say is I'll be proud to have this on the table.

PS Andrés start practicing your Pictish designs, More big men to be painted in the future!

Thanks!! I have another Dux on the painting table and he will be different too.
