Awamija Sfigazija is the fictitious town of my east european/balcanic setting. It's the provincial capital of one of the provinces of the imperialkingdom of Valcania.
As I'm a fan of paper buildings, I choose to realize the scenery in paper. The base tiles are "macro" tiles with a 60x60 cm dimension. I made 4 of them, but there are more in the pipeline. Same for the building: a lot of them are already printed and even more of them are waiting on the hard disk.
The miniatures are an ecleptic bunch of prepainted, bought painted and bad painted miniatures (alas, not self painted yet).

Very nice mate. I consider those to be well painted by my standards. Look forward to more that town looks rather good so far.
-
Great collection.
Who makes the two Vampire bats and I don't recognise the kneeling Vampire and victim either?
-
I'm just discovering the joys of paper/card buildings and have to say I am impressed by your town. Good work! :)
-
Great collection.
Who makes the two Vampire bats and I don't recognise the kneeling Vampire and victim either?
The vampire in bat form in the center is a plastic miniature from the first edition of the boardgame Descent. The two others vampire bats and the vampire with victim are Horrorclix prepainted plastics.

Lots of good stuff there. If I can add to the barrage of questions:
Are the tiles commercial ones, or did you design them yourself?
Who makes the "bystanders"?

The tiles are produced by Worldworks (Himmelveil streets).
The "bystanders" are made by Redoubt. They are part of a civil war civilians pack.

Superb nice work!

Well worth the wait! :D
While most are/were curious about the figs, understandably, I'm thrilled with your little city. How evocative!

Great collection of figures. Richard
-
Great collection you have there, some very strange goings-on around Awamija Sfigazija judging by that selection of characters.
What make are the buildings? Microtactix?
-
The buildings are Dave Graffam and Fat dragon, plus a couple of Worldworks.
-
Looks nice.
I got a couple of questions too :D
In the "more eccentric people" pic who makes the 2nd from the right. He's the one with a tophat and blades on this hands.
And who makes the metal legion minis? They are too cute.

1) Ramshackle
2) Hydra

I recognize a few horrorclix figures in there too
-
Is the ghost wolf a Horrorclix fig?
-
Is the ghost wolf a Horrorclix fig?
Yes
-
You have an impressive collection there I recognize all but the mechanical wonders and the mortomatics.
What rules set do you use?
-
The mechanical wonders are Dungeons & dragons prepainted plastic.
The mortomatics are Privateer press Warmachine.
I'm trying to use a variant of the Song of blades and heroes engine. Without success, of course :)
-
Why without success? I've never played it but I hear many people like it. I use EotD myself.
-
I really like the rules. "Without success" was referred to my poor attempts to write some house rules to give them a gothic horror/VSF feel :)
I own Empire of the dead, I supported the recent kickstarter, but I've not read them (in fact, not yet printed... :( )
-
It's a fun game with the campaign system being the best part of it. If you enjoy as system where you can build unique characters over time you'll like this one.

That's a very flamboyant collection you have there. ;)
-
Really nice paper town. Impressive indeed. Would like to know did you stick it to foamboard?
-
did you stick it to foamboard?
No, it's just the recommended 200 gr. cardstock
-
No, it's just the recommended 200 gr. cardstock
I see. It looks great. Is it sturdy enough to support a miniature standing on the roof?
The ones i found normally wants us to stick it to foamboard which i find it kind of tedious.
-
Is it sturdy enough to support a miniature standing on the roof?
If it isn't a dragon, yes :)

Very nice additions the Steam and Steel (Design 28s) mix in quite well
