Title: Crossover Miniatures conversion
Post by: JollyBob on 19 August 2012, 05:57:31 PM
Hi all

I've had this idea banging round in my head for a couple of years, ever since I painted some of Eureka's boiler suited apes. When Crossover released their Goons I realised I had no excuse any more...

So I present, with appropriate shame, Colonel Nick Furry, Agent of SPEAR.

(http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb155/GrunterPulpit/SPEAR/NF2.jpg) (http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb155/GrunterPulpit/SPEAR/NF1.jpg) (http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb155/GrunterPulpit/SPEAR/NF3.jpg)

The head is from Crooked Dice, and they match up beautifully, in my opinion.

Cheers
JB

there's an idea well worth stealing!

superb work sir, and very nicely painted too.  I can't help but think this is exactly the sort of shenanigans rusti had in mind when he formed Crossover miniatures, and the head fits the style of Soapys sculpting perfectly.

jim
