Just completed another AT43 re-paint. This baby is armed with some mean looking mortars!
The pilot is from a GW sentinel.

I've also built a pilot for my Heavy Walker. This is a converted Alpha Forge Games mini with some GW bits.

I've just got some of the new Artizan Russians from their Thrilling Tales range which will go well with these.

Beautiful! The repaint is much better than the original. Looks suitably grimy and Soviet.

Very nice. 8)

that is totally awesome, very well done.
whenever I look at this stuff I feel like a very uncool old man (well I suppose I am an old man) and can never find the ones I have seen like this. Does this come from a particular range within AT43 with a code number?

Very Kool 8)

Wow! That's awesome.
Did you free hand the Russian or is that a decal?
-
As usual splendid work. :)
I also tried to squeeze apilot into the walker, but somehow my Sentinel Pilot did not want to fit inside...
:?

Stunning work Daddy Darkness :D
Love Nobby :)

Thank You all for the comments!
Svennn the DH Nut: Any of the RED BLOK walkers from the AT43 range look suitably Soviet (IMHO). This particular one is the Nakovalny 'SIERP'. The second one is from the "Colonel Odin O-1 & Manon O-2 and Urod" set.
DFlynSqrl: The Decal is a home-made rub on transfer ( my hand isn't that steady to paint free-hand!!)
Agis: The Sentinel pilot requires his arms being filed down a bit at the sides to fit properly.
Thanks again for the comments

Pappa, could we have a painting tutorial on one of these. I am very curious to know how you achieve these results.I have just looked at them again and I think they are stunning and I also really love the snow :D

Thanks Nick,
I've been asked to do a tutorial by some of the guys on TMP aswell. I've got another one sat on my work bench which I will be tackling in the next week or so. I'll be sure to take some WIP pics etc.
The snow is Deluxe Scenic Snow from Antenociti's Workshop

It's really easy to use and it has got very good coverage.
