Have you seen the postage rate for overseas? That's ridiculous.

I've been very tempted by this in the past - but the shipping is a killer.

Ordered a couple of painted pieces from SJM in the past and they've been OK - the mole machine for example is quite nice.

That dohickey doesn't say submarine to me. It looks more like a zeppelin accidentally puffed up with cement insted of hydrogen and now it has troubles getting out of the water.

Now I've got it. It is of course a lead zepelin.

Good. That leaves us with enough time to come up with measures appropriate for punishing you for that pun.

Have to say, without even regarding the price, I don´t like that sub at all. It cannot make up it´s mind as to what it wants to be - hull shape looks like a nuke sub, with lots of greeblies added that would make underwater microphones  overload due to the noise...

Short, doesn´t look neither Victorian nor Pulp or Modern. :?
Title: Mole Machine?

If I am not mistaken, that "mole Machine" is the old Epicast 40k scale tunneler, the Termite. It looks like the one I have stashed somewhere around here for my Squat/Grymn forces.

Edit: The sub doesn't look right...too wide for its length. Early subs where long and narrow.

It would be a case of DIVE, DIVE, DIblulbblubblub...............

How "anti" this place got all of a sudden. I don't think it's THAT bad. You lot sound like you'd be ready to boycott any game this model appears in

The big, flat deck makes it a very game practical model.  Lots of space for the action to take place.

It's alright. In general I like it, and I appreciate that it's a game piece not a real sub, but the colourscheme in the painted version is almost exactly like Stingray to my mind, and that puts me off quite a lot, unfortunately.

I quite like the idea of the M Class subs with 12" Gun, later converted to carry seaplanes:
