Title: Rocket or submarine
Post by: tim at frontline on 23 August 2012, 10:05:27 PM
I wanted to make a B movie style single seat rocket. However when I proudly presented it to the wife and my son (who's also a gamer) they both thought it was a submarine. what does everyone think?

Both.

It's a multi-purpose craft, designed to carry your intrepid heroes wherever they might need to go, as long as they don't need to eat!

Give it optional landing skids and its a rocket, or optional hydroplanes and its a sub.
Give it both and its a submarine launched rocket.
Let the customers decide.

Three different codes added to the catalogue in one fell swoop.

Its definately got a fishy look to it but I love it!
Would work great as either in my opinion
Sky Captains plane was also a sub so why not this,eh?

Thanks for the posts guys. The mould still needs a little tinkering before it goes into production so I've got a bit of time to work out what to call it.

You could call it "The Flying Fish" after this creature:

Although the wings on the actual fish are a bit different...

I'd say it is one of Lord Titan's new rocket sumarines.

Surface Agent X-2-0's submarine

Can Troy Tempest and Stingray deal with this threat?  Anything can happen in the next half hour!
