Last weekend I finally got around to painting the Supermutants I had assembled from AoBR Ork Nob bodies and Warhammer Ghoul heads. There's about 18 in all, which should be more than enough for any skirmish level scenario. I've also got a half a dozen playable Supermutants that players can include in their gang. I'll post them up when the last two are done.
While still recognisable as Ork bodies, I feel they still look enough like Supermutants with their tiny, tiny heads, they scale well to human miniatures, and it took care of a bunch of the Orks I bought that will never find their place in a 40k army (Thanks, GW embargoes!)

From the looks of these picture, it seems like I'll be spending this afternoon drilling out a whole bunch of gun barrels.

Cool. They look good. I have been wanting to do this conversion for some time.

Those look effective. Please excuse my ignorance, but what are FO3 and AoBR?

Thanks Steve, FO is Fallout and AoBR is Assault on Black Reach, the previous GW starter box for 40k.
