Somalis (66), Technicals (3) and a factory (1) for a total of 70 things in February.
Running total for the year 119 painted, 67 bought.
Unfortunately I have run out of varnish and Antenociti is still waiting for a shipment so 'proper' photos will have to follow later.

Oh, go and stick a head in a pig, you overproductive wonderboy limey, you!
Have you no concept of the feeling of inadequacy you are spreading arround this forum?! ;-)

Someone go steal his brushes or something. I have not painted a figure in months.

Figure? Paint? Explain please :)
-
Hadn't it been for Tactica, I wouldn't have painted anything this year. As it is, I have painted 5 figures for our participation game* in Hamburg though, which is already more than half of what I painted in the entire last year :freak:
I'll go and crawl back under my rock now.
* I'll post pictures of the setup as soon as I find a minute to take decent pictures...

Okay, not quite as impressive as Matakishi's fantastic entire population of Mog. :)
We have, an old Citadel Monk, The Unnamed Avenger, Davros, UNIT Troopers, The Daleks, a Twi'lek and his Droid, SPACE ROBOTS!, repainted Paintballers, more SOE agents, The Joker, The Great Idol, GIANT SPACE ROBOT! and Brunel.

Four of the Daleks (Black one and 3 of the suckers) where painted before, but I don't have individual pics of them all.
Also I painted another pair of Star Wars droids, but I don't think I've taken pics of them yet.

Here is my monthly group.
On the left we have 11 ghost. This group is a colaborative effort. I was using these to teach my daughter about washes and drybrushing. In the Middle Back we have 4 Pulp Figures Boys in Blue that I just finished this morning. In the front 5 more pulp figures from the Safari into Danger Pack. On the right are nine ghouls I painted up a couple weeks ago the same day as the game I used them in. The photo is really lousy because I've been up over 24 hours and I wasn't being all that careful shooting this group. I'm sure I'll do some more individual shots soon. [/url]

Aw, man! :( Don't you guys have anything else to do? I'm feeling quite inadequate here. This is all I could manage:
A triceratops, a brontotherium, a wooly rhino, one adventurer, three Mongolian death-worms, a carnivorous plant, and six Critters of various sizes.
Oh, and Zombie Hitler too, but yez've seen him already. Dammit, I made a concerted effort this month too. That said, I've got twice as many figs started as I have finished, but they don't count do they?
Hey, Prof, are you being coy with yours for the LPL?
-
Hey, Prof, are you being coy with yours for the LPL?
no, for my Club.
-
Gunna have to pull my finger out............the only thing i've painted this month is the bathroom door :(
-
Auton, the pirate-y ships and sea fort look great. :)

February has been another quiet-ish month for me, I'm afraid. Happily this has been due to being distracted by other enjoyable things, rather than that awful feeling of not wanting to paint that plagued me previously.
But for the past week or so I have been busy with my club. Unfortunately due to the nature of the club, there is a lot more work involved with each individual member than with the Prof's or Hammers'. So I don't have anything finished to show for it yet. But that doesn't mean I've been totally idle. I'm quietly working away in the background, both on the modelling itself and the 'fluff', as I believe one calls it.
Jolly Bob, that stuff looks great. Any chance of some close-ups at some point?

They look Fantastic

I finished up some Cowboys in February.

Why, thank you. The big stuff needs a wee bitty scrub or grass on the bases just to finish off and break up the sandy colour.
I must admit, I'm quite pleased with the triceratops. Not bad for £3.50, is he? You gotta love toyshops.
Hey Squirrel, those are some colourful cowpokes. Looking good mate. :)

I think made/converted/sculpted could be included here without any worries.

Thanks, I found them in my lead mountain. I think they're old Harlequin ones but can't be sure. Anyone confirm?
Update - just Googled them http://dig.anthro.niu.edu/codex/harlequin/gladiators.htm
-
Yeah, deffo the Harlequin ones. I have that boxed set.

What do you say, Prof? Should we be insulted by this claim? ;-)

This is interesting. My process sort of strarts with the fluff and I chose the colours, poses and basing from what I come up with.
-
No insult intended, old Bean. It's just that the club itself is a different kind of club. Each 'member' consists of a person and something else. And the 'something else' isn't something that can be knocked off in a day (at least not with my modelling skills and short attention span).
Also, each entry has a second little 'in action' scene (or will have), and they require more actors, and sometimes a different model representing the club member to the original main club picture.
I'm beginning to think it's all a little ambitious. I'm bound to get tired of it before I have anything to show...

sounds complicated  but I would like to see that, I'm sure I'll love it.
how matakishi once said "Take heart, work hard, have faith!"
btw, in the meantime I have an idea for my second club and it will be something complicated too. Or rather lots of work. Anyway, it's just an idea at the moment.
As soon as we will have a new club, I'll open a new Club's board 8)

Bit late to the show (and pictures still not very good), but here goes. February, as the month before it, saw more work on my Jotunheim fantasy norse.
Front row: Shadowforge valkyries
Second row: Foundry bearmen
Third row: Foundry big guy and Old Glory Ice Trolls (they do paint up well)
Also, a converted and repainted Tundra Scout on mammoth from the D&D prepaints (should have fixed the wonky tusks too).

Norse! This is what me wants to see :) A passion I'll never lose. Those trolls work really great, WK. Hope, we'll see more one day?

Well, I've been planning to get a better camera soonish, so you might. I've only been painting them for about three-four months and only during weekends, so there's only about 50 or so done (some people around apparently do that much in a day and they look better too. ).
The colour scheme is (loosely) based on some illustrations in the Lucifer comics of the Jotun:
After seeing your Norse army I had been looking for an angle that would set mine apart because I knew I could never do 'regular' Norse as well as yours.
The Trolls were bought years ago for a project that was never realised, but they work well for this purpose (afer all they were conceived as Skraelings for OG's old fantasy range) and they do have character when painted up. I have 10 more though doubt I'll paint them all up.
