Where could one find these rules from GDW, my googlefu has not made any results.

Neither as it turns out, they are 1925-1950.

Do you mean the WRG rules? The 1950-2000 set is OOP AFAIK, but the previous set 1959-85 is available as a free .pdf from WRG.

GDW did a set called "Combined Arms" which was based on "Command Decision" and was designed for the modern era.

Many thanks, I'm going to run this past people in my gaming club, and see if we want to try this at 6mm.
