If you could pick just 1 character from any western movie or TV show, or a historical figure, that you'd love to see turned into a miniature, who would it be? :)
-
John Wesley Hardin. Just because no one has done a figure of him before as far as I know.
-
Al Swearengen with Wooden Box ;D
-
Either a sprinting John Colter with nothing but a beaded blanket and broken spear or Liver eatin Johnson in a bearskin trail coat.
-
Off the top of my head, Steve McQueen with a cut down Winchester, but I could go on all night. lol
-
Lucas McCain, The Rifleman
-
"The Wild Bunch"
-
A good 28mm Tonto damnit! Or Paladin, or Frank & Harmonica...those two would be sweet.
-
The Magnificent Seven - the one with Ron Perlman
Ben Wade from "3:10 to Yuma"
The dirty banditos from Three Amigos
-
All the characters from F-Troop
-
The minis to play out the fight at the end of Open Range....
-
Harley Stone, played by Rutger Hauer, from the 1992 British Sci-Fi Horror film "Split Second". A cigar-smoking, cynical, badass rogue cop with a bad attitude quippin endless one-liners on the streets of a submerged future london, hunting a mysterious killer that seems to have a conection to the disappearance of his partner years ago.
Best scene: When he is in his captain's office getting reprimanded for his behaviour, just before he leaves he just grabs a handful of the captain't cigars from a box on the desk without comment leaving the boss fuming but frozen in anger at his subordinate :)
Highly recommended film btw :D

He was even immortalized in 28mm!

Cullen Bohannon or William Munny
-
Or Ole Bill and his plum jam
-
The Preacher from "Pale Rider".
-
Cullen Bohannon or William Munny
Brigade has a nice Bohannon.
-
William Blake from Dead Man...?

-
Bohannon - Gun slinger seeking justice?
Is there a list of movie/t.v characters already made in to minis, I started making a list a while ago and have started collecting a few of them.
Wild west ones I've seen are Good the Bad and the Ugly and True Grit.

Brigade has the Swede (I think that's what he is?) and Northstar/Artizan had the LE Lone Ranger. Ebob did a Man With No Name as well. Artizan does Sharon Stone's character from The Quick & The Dead.
-
I think that is one of the difficulties I've had finding them, for obvious reasons companies can't say exactly who they are although most of the time it's easy enough to figure it out, sometimes you just can't see what's staring you in the face Bohannon/Swede.
-
The title character from the movie "Quigley Down Under", and the film's villain, Elliot Marston, played by a dapper and despicable Alan Rickman

Who once again proves his worth as a non-lead!
-
Trinity (who can also double up as "Nobody" from "My name is nobody") and his brother (Bud Spencer).
-
The Range Rider and Dick West, Hopalong Cassidy and the (1950s) Cisco Kid (and Pancho)....
Doug
-
All of DC comics Old West characters, Hex, Scalphunter, Cinnamon, Nighthawk, etc...
-
Yancy Derringer and Pahoo-Ka-Ta-Wah.

Ooh! Good call...
There is a semi-inferior Clicky Jonah Hex already (made to capitalize on the failed movie, one presumes...).
-
"California" Carlson from Hopalong Cassidy
or
Lash LaRue
*beer*
-
Mississippi James Caan from El Dorado. The small guy from High Plains Drifter.
-
Britt from The Magnificent 7 or Harmonica from Once Upon a Time in the West.
-
I think mine would be Shadrack (spelling!?) from Dead Men's Walk
-
As for an Indian Scout and a masked avenger I did these as a commission a while ago, not sure if they are going to be commercially available though.

lovely figures tidyfiguremaker I suppose that's the difference between having to say I'd love to see this miniature to being able to make the the exact miniature you want. What sort of miniatures do you make for yourself?

, not sure if they are going to be commercially available though.
If not it'd be a crime against humanity :o

There's also a decent Elam Ferguson in their 'Western Railroad Workers' pack ;)
I'd like to see all the main characters from Silverado (along with many of the above suggestions)
-
DJANGO!! :D
-
EB Farnum ( Deadwood ).......he's such a dweeb. Superb

For me, Paladin from Have Gun, Will Travel without question is my #1 pick since its my favorite show.
Runner up is Jim West from Wild, Wild, West. The Robert Conrad version, not the whateverthehell version Will Smith did.
Then Yul Brenner in the Magnificent Seven.
-
Lee van Cleef's Sabata with the 7-shot derringer.
-
The Outlaw Josey Wales - three versions: mounted with his two Navy Colts; dismounted with both Colts; dismounted with his Sharps rifle.
-
Johnny Yuma.

Johnny Yuma.
Good choice that.

While we're chatting so pleasantly, how many Rooster Cogburn figures are there these days? What about the other characters from True Grit...?

Been awhile since I looked but at least two Old Movie "not-Rooster Cogburn" figures and possibly one complete set of the new movie characters...
Ack, now to try and recall where...
Gracias,
Glenn
