OK this is not quite news any more but all the same...
Yonaguni monument is so yesteryear. Bosnian pyramids are passé. The alt-archeological crowd has been in need of a new titillation -- and lo and behold, it's here:

I didn't see any reports of plaintative cries of "tekeli-li!" being heard in the vicinity so I remain strongly skeptical o_o

I believe that the theory of Goal'ulds soon invading earth was the most plausible theory so far :)

Speculative dung.
-
It may be so bad a hoax that not even the woo-woo crowd (aside of a few truly deranged ones) have caught on :?
-
I like the idea it's a prelude to a 'Mountains of Madness' film.
-
If only.

:?
Everybody knows that pyramids in Antarctica hold a deep frozen Alien Queen ready to lay eggs in preparation of The Hunt...
;)

Too bad the website is just a site making fake news, but it is possible that there is real stuff buried in the ice.
Who knows?
-
Well, many things indeed are possible but that doesn't mean they are factual 8)

Up we go.
"Argentine experts have discovered fossils of a two-metre tall penguin that lived in Antarctica 34 million years ago." (http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news/world/argentine-experts-find-huge-penguin-fossil/story-e6frfkui-1226521642718)

It's hardly a surprise, given that the Mayan apocalypse is right around the corner... Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li! o_o
-
Great find, Dolmot. “The Fury of Giant Penguins” is now on my list of Doc-Thompson-scenarios-one-day-to-play.
-
Some 'interesting' theories on the comments section of that website. I'm sure they are all perfectly reasonable people just having a little chuckle. No loons at all. Nope.
Loads of scenario ideas though.

Two words: Poe's law.
A fine example of the axiom it is too! I've no idea which ones are serious.
