Could always get that second Secret agent finished :D ;)

There is always that, although I'm actually of the thinking that I need to redo the original one and bring him into scale with the figures I've been doing for Crooked Dice. I also got this lovely bagman agent almost finished but he's true 28mm and so a lot smaller to my developed style.

It all sounds good mate to me. Really like your style. I have your original agent and its a really nice fig

I'm another admirer of your work, although commissioning figures or a range is currently beyond my means. :'(
I'd suggest you push 'Mountain Miniatures' more though. I've always wanted to see a range of 1950's era civilians, gangsters and cops (think Dragnet, Noir movies, LA Confidential and the forthcoming Gangster Squad (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1321870/) etc.). It would be complimentary to what you've done for Crooked Dice, without treading on their toes. All the gangster ranges I know of are 1920's, which really don't work for the 50's.
One customer here already! :)

I like the look of that new series, definately one that I will watch when it makes it over here.
I really should make some more figures for my own range but it's not easy to find the time after commission work to do them.

At the speed I paint, just fitting an occasional one in now and then would put pressure on me. lol That being said, it would be surprising how quickly you built up a range, just by working on a single figure occasionally, alongside your paying work.
But please... bear it in mind, the separate heads and weapons etc, a la Crooked Dice, would be ideal. Obviously I can't predict how interested other people would be though.
The series you're thinking of is Frank Darabont's 'LA Noir (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L.A._Noir)'... same topic and time frame though (different book). GS is a movie.
