Title: Battle of Castiglione - 8th September 1706 - War of the Spanish Succession

Hi,
I’m looking for detailed informations about the battle of Castiglione (North Italy – Lombardy) of 8th September 1706, fought between a Franco-Hispanic army, under the command of Marshal Jacques E. Rouxel, Count of Grancey and Médavy and an Imperial army formed by Germanic troops (Hessians) under the command of Prince Frederick of Hessen-Kassel.
The Franco-Hispanic won a great victory.
In particular I need the order of battle of the two armies, that the two lists with the names of the regiments that formed the opposing forces.

I think you will be very, very lucky indeed to find an order of battle for this one.  All I hjave seen is what is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Castiglione_%281706%29

You could try the Nafziger collection but I've never been able to get the search facility to work.  You may have better luck. http://cgsc.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/landingpage/collection/p15040coll6
