Long ago when I was young and you where even younger I decided to make a foamboard drop ship. This went wrong, not surprising really as it was my first attempt at working with the stuff. Bits of it found its way into other models such as my tunnel terrain. But some bits where left and have been annoying me for years. So earlier this year I got fired up and got to work...
A quick ruin made from scraps of foamboard (was a bit of wing).

There was once an engine and a bit more wing....
When out in the wastes keep an eye open for these things....

You see these are emergency escapes for Vaults and other smaller bunkers. You can see some vaultie has been daubing it. He probably got kicked out for some reason. lol
Then there was the main fuselage of the drop ship. What to do?
As Matt Black Gods world is (was) a space colony before the Apocalypse hit it will probably have some sort of Atmospheric processing towers. The cool thing about these towers is they work for Sci-Fi too and will find its way into my Firefly setting.

A door was added from cereal card and a door way from scraps of foamboard. The data panel is from Blackcat bases.

The moral of the story...don't chuck out an old failed project you may be able to build something out of it years later! :D

Best say that as quiet as possible; you don't know HOW many significant others will simply squint, and say... 'Get a rope.' lol
