Title: Looking for hulking brute miniatures.
Post by: Knightofspades on September 25, 2012, 09:33:22 PM
Hey I am not really sure where to post this but I guess the mutant or beastial type of figures I am looking for makes this as good a spot as any. I am looking for minatures of hulking monster or mutant types, without weapons, clothing, jewelry or ornamental stuff of any kind. Hairy yeti like monsters will be good too.
Here are some links to the type of monsters I am looking for.

http://dloubet.deviantart.com/art/Headless-280713424?q=favby%3Aknightofspades%2F45386890&qo=112

As you can see I am not looking for human looking brutes.

I hope you can help me because finding some "pure" monsters are suprisingly difficult.

The Bandaged head miniature from Four A miniatures might be of use.

Or the Soffrances from the Ex-Illis game.

Maybe the RP Taers from the defunct AD&D line can be used - true 25 mm.

I believe Matakishi used these in his Tarzan project if you want painted up examples

Ferris games do two 'tank  ' zombies that would be ideal as hulking brutes. not got the url to hand but search for the fenris games eBay shop, you should find them easy enough.

Good luck.
