I've had these painted up for a couple months and just now got around to taking pictures. Orangoutangs with advanced rifles from Sgt. Major miniatures. I like the threatening look of these guys, more so than the friendly sissy Jokaero made by GW :)

Nice! The O.L.F. ;)

superb.... look like hasslefree guns, which are always nice
-
Hilariously funny and cool!
shame their weapons aren't more retro they will be great for a golden era sci-fi game.
-
Very nice!! Tempting me to get a few. Must resist....

They look great! I painted up a couple of those last year.
I was told by Sergeant Major miniatures, that they plan to do more poses and weapon options, but it is not on top of their to do list.

These look great!

Not seen those before, but they model and PJs are great.
-
Yay! those are great!
Didn't know they existed!

Great minis & great painting!
Those are tempting! Makes me think of the 'Uplift wars' by David Brin.

Thanks for the kind comments all. They were a very nice break from boredom. I find myself painting units of 10 or more at once, and it was refreshing to knock out two figs and be done with the group :)
Sgt. Major has some pretty cool figures that don't seem to get much exposure.
The rifles they have are indeed Hasslefree, which is cool if I want to arm some xenophile humans with 'Jokaero' weapons.

I just painted up one of those -- they are lovely miniatures and very characterful. Your paint jobs are a bit better than mine, though! :D

Bonkers, yet strangely appealing :)
Nice paintwork champ!

Well, Matt, those took me by surprise!
Awesome look, and with a weapon change out, drop dead on other genre tables as well.
Well done! And, I'm really impressed with the expressions. Glowering malevolence to me!
