That's very nice indeed :-* :-*
Is this to be a one off or the possible start of a range?
cheers

He looks pretty darned cool; I like the tadpole on his(?) shield. From my strange perspective, about the only thing I'd do differently is perhaps to give him(?) larger feet. That aside, GREAT WORK!
-
hehehehe... Hoplite... lol
Great work, really characterful piece. :)
-
Oh yeah - hop-lite lol
Great little mini there - hope there's more to come.
How about some Squirmishers armed with blowpipes next?
-
I highly approve.
-
Looks cool! I would give him some nostrils though.
Also, I would do a lily pad on his shield rather than a sper... I mean Tadpole!

Agree with both of the above....and I love him. A unit of these would look VERY cool!

Great stuff. I agree, do more.

Or a tongue and fly motif
-
Fantastic! It's very smooth and frog-like! I wish I could sculpt like that.
-
tops... I miss the Slann... :(
-
Awesome, now add a few different poses and I'll happily add them to my project :)
-
It looks cool, but I agree the tadpole is odd.
That would be the equivalent of a human with a baby on the shield, and that's weird.
-
Thanks for the feedback everyone, I really enjoyed working on this piece :)
I forgot about the nostrils lol, I will sort that out and the shield is separate so I Could easily change it.
it was just going to be a one off piece but, Someone might be picking this piece up for production, so they may be a chance of different posses being sculpted.
I'll keep you updated
Thanks
George

very nice

Great work. Clean, but nice.
-
Not my thing
But me likey!
Keep us posted if someone picks it up.
I'd like to see an "assassin" style frog. Very croak and dagger lol
-
Excellent fig. Inspiring.

Nice sculpting, but I think the idea of a different shield like a lily pad would be more appropriate.
Feet could be bigger for a frog and I think the loin cloth is a bit too much like a nappy for my ideal.
-
Do a fly icon shield. :D

I would really like to see more of these. It's a lovely, simple piece. :)
-
Very fun & characterful- hopefully that will become a range, I could easily see myself picking those up :)
-
A very nice figure!
But keep the tadpole! It's so wonderfully weird.
Clearly a holy symbol among the marsh-states, a sign of strength showing their dominance over the meek lilies and flies.
-
Each clan has its own shield design... Problem solved :D
cheers

I'm completely in love with the tadpole shield.
-
Brilliant figure mate!
Love the concept and the execution. Would happily pick these up if you turned it into a fleshed out line.
Cheers,
Ben.
-
I want to buy this and many more like it. Please carry on with frog-making.

Hi Everyone
Good news, It looks like someone has picked this piece up for production and he should be available soon :).
I've also been asked to do two more for now and maybe a full range in the future.
Thanks again for the feedback :)

My mice medievals need mercenaries... Looking forward to these.

These are to be produced? Good to hear.

Hi Everyone :)
here is another W.I.P of a frogman.
Not to sure about this one :? , my sculpting been a bit off this week :-[
What do you think so far?

Thanks

I like it, but I don't think this one is going as well as the other, it just doesn't look as 'froggy' as the first one... I think it's the mouth? Maybe too short and turns down to far...
-
I think it might need 'fleshing out' on the bottom jaw. Perhaps it is too 'long'...
Lovely pose, would be nice to see more spearmen though. :)
-
Toadily Awesome
-
I like the concept behind this one_ Sneaky Frog Assassin....
Nice.
:)
-
Can't see anything wrong with it myself 8)
cheers

-
Thanks,
Going to be doing some more spearmen soon :)
How do these feet look?
I can easily change them :?

Personally, I'd thin the dagger blade down a bit. Something that big might work as a slashing weapon, but he's got it gripped for stabbing, and it's so wide that it would get wedged before penetrating too far...
Or maybe I'm over-thinking this a little bit... :)
-
I think that's overthinking it a bit.
In my mind, something that big looks right for the scale and would cast really well and solidly.
Good work, it's looking great and I would love to see a guide on how to sculpt those feet! Fantastic!
-
Nice "ninja" frog. (Spelling "as..." is a challenge, thank you Los Angeles elementary education)
Yes to more Spearmen, perhaps some nice javelin armed skirmishers?
Some lurkers with just head/eyes showing above water line. Okay, okay, got cared away there...
Gracias,
Glenn

Picked these little fellas up from George today.Great little pieces.More to come with other weapons too.Probably looking at the New Year for the release. That gives plenty of time to get a good selection ready.
-
Glad to see you've picked these up, Andy.
Nice work George!
-
These two minis look great. The feet really work nicely. Would these be standing on slotta tabs or an integral base? I realize it's probably too soon to know, but I had to ask.
-
Ah dammit - you're going to have me buying frogs as well as Goblins off you now Andy! >:( lol
Very nice by the way George - more spears and blowpipes please. Aztec weaponry too perhaps ;)
