Title: Krug, Hill Giant
Post by: LeadAsbestos on September 27, 2012, 03:06:06 AM
A gorgeous and HUGE Tre Manor sculpt for Reaper, painted while I'm anxiously awaiting my Rd Box Kickstarter minis! Kudos to Killshot for his  :-* Helsvakt warband also kicking me in the butt to get mine done! ;)

Is that mini as big as he looks!?

One of your finer paint jobs by the way. He looks great!

That looks fantastic. The only thing that seems a bit off are the muttonchops - they seem kind of flat. Considering the rest of the model looks very nicely finished, is the highlighting on the muttonchops just not showing up well in the photo?

:-* I have this mini, it is soooooooooooo heavy (any home invaders will have this thrown at them followed by me having to repaint it)
You've done a superb job on it

Smashing job, Chris! But... I thought you were out of 28mm fantasy!? =D Glad to see you're not!

As an aside, the barbarians I bought from you have now been rebased and are ready for their first session!

I don't think that beautiful is quite the right adjective for a model like this, but you know what I mean! Very nice indeed.

Thanks gang! To respond: Yes, he is huge! His 'chops have a subtle highlight, but not much!
Phreedh- Glad to see them up and running. Axe over the shoulder guy I bought painted that way! My fantasy stuff WAS over, til that damn RB Kickstarter!

Great paint job. Funny, I've seen this guy around on the Reaper website and was torn between him and the 65139 Hill Giant (same guy, different pose) for my dungeon project...
How high does this guy measure?

A scale shot was requested. Reaper Orc, also by Tre Manor, and original Yrsa the Accursed, RBG:
