Here's my William of Orange, with some of his forces (the forces you've seen before in the last LPL), William is new, and here they are all together for the first time having been ejected at semi final stage in the latest painting competition over on Steve Dean's :)
All the figures are by Front Rank except for some North Star 1672 (ex Copplestone Glory of The Sun) figures in the background on the siege shot...
Blue coats are Dutch, Red coats are English, Black coats are French Huguenots in William's service.

They're all a bit shit aren't they, but, never mind, bring 'em along to BLAM and I'll help you get shot of them ;)

Your wonderful bright colours never cease to impress. You'll have to tell us your secrets!

some lovely colours there... and I must admit, I didn't notice they had no eyes, so maybe you don't need to worry...

I only wish you would start to paint eyes :)
People who paint eyes are bound for hell. It's in the bible.
-
I must admit I never noticed that you didn't paint eyes, clearly not a necessary part for your figures.
-
what is that light blue/grey you use for the english stockings?

what is that light blue/grey you use for the english stockings?
It's a craft paint, Anita's acrylic, 'Ocean Blue' - I use it a lot. Most Anita's acrylics are kind of thin, glutinous paints, but this is a particularly nice colour and I've stuck with it ;)

Those are wonderful. A real treat to log in and see today.

Captain Blood;
You are indeed an artist. Each figure you paint is a tiny little masterpiece. I would just love so see these figures used in a game...that I could partake in...I am so impressed!!
Thanks for sharing.
