Title: My Victorian City
Post by: Landru on 03 October 2012, 06:09:28 PM
I would like to share with you some pictures of my new victorian city.
The city has been made step by step by a professional modeler during some months.

Now it is time to get it populated and start to play some good campaigns.

I hope you like it.

Kind regards from Spain.

Very well done.

Oooohhhh pretty! ;D

That's a nice finish! For me it's the sneaky different levels, I love that ramp hiding between the houses with the bridge over it!! Are the houses stuck to the pavement sections, like a block of houses, or are they all separate and lift-off-able? Was it someone on the LAF that made that for you?

All of the houses can be moved. However they are grouped in 2, 3 or even just 1.
I do not understand what do you mean by LAF.

I've just added another item to my "Things to Do with Lottery Winnings" list.  Item #17 - Commission several gaming tables from Landru's Spanish modeling genius.  Truly wonderful looking table.  Enjoy it.

Perfect in every way - it's *exactly* the kind of table I've always wanted.  :-*

It's full but playable, and it looks detailed without being too delicate. It's also re-arrangeable and can suit a variety of different games.

...So any chance of some pictures and angles please?  :D

It took him about 2 months.

He will be delighted to get some more work. However please have in mind that this kind of table weights about 30-40 Kg, so I assume shipping to some countries must be prohibited because of the price.

Yes and Spanish shipping can get very high within Europe, but it will depend on the overall price I guess. Quality like that can be hard to find!

Perhaps you could aks him to post details here?

And I'm sure some LAFERs would be interested in one or two buildings or buildings without a board...

I might as well jump on the bandwagon.  ;D

Lovely board, I'm sure it was worth every penny!

I'd love to see it populated with some sweet minis.
