Those are brilliant! :-*

Ready to earn their double pay! Very nice! :-*

Stunning. :-*

Now we're talking. Greatswords for the win! :D
But being a bit anal here: Can I ask for some actual fighting stances? Despite their oversize appearance greatswords weren't just wielded like clubs. There are quite a few Medieval or rather Early Modern fencing manuals which tell us how to use these beasts properly - and elegantly that is as well. Maybe take a look at the stances shown here (http://www.thearma.org/essays/2HGS.html) for inspiration. Would be great to see more of such poses in miniatures (the Perry mercenary plastics are the only ones I've encountered so far).
Anyway, keep up the great work!

So, Arquebusiers and two-handers in the wings (and Shakespeare and his pig), and the cannons and crews are heading my way already... life is good.

thanks 2 all! :)

Very nice!

nice
but with to much volume of the clothes especially on the arms you can not give them proper fencing poses
grip of the hands should be wider to get a dynamic lever on the sword
at the moment they look more like showing their swords on a parade than fighting

Oh thats too good!!! :o

I need zwie hands to hold all the awesome.

While I have to admire the details I wonder if their arms aren't a little too long. They have a somewhat ape-like quality about them.

I think it's those giant sleeves/shoulderpads giving that impression. Now that I look again, it also makes them look top-heavy, like they're about to fall over.
Gentlemen, I... I don't want to say something rash, but... I think we may have finally discovered that there really is a upper limit to the size of those slashed sleeves. Well, a practical limit anyway.

Another minor detail I've just noticed: The rings at the guard have an actual purpose. It was common to press the thumb of the upper hand on the hilt against the blade in order to gain additional control. By that the thumb reaches beyond the guard, thus it needs protection as offered by these rings.
In turn the other hand can use the hilt as a lever, i.e. it allows for easy swings of the blade and precise thrusts as well.
In short, perhaps there should be a wider spread between the hands, with the thumb of the upper hand stretched out across the guard. Would probably make for more realistic stances in general.

Oi! Don´t leave me hanging on these ones! I NEED these swordsmen - NOW. My greatsword regiment have been put on hold because of them, and you don´t want to keep Foundry Orcs waiting. >:(
