Despite having around 10,000 15mm Napoleonic figures I've done something daft and started to paint some in 28mm o_o
I blame you guys and Perry Plastics lol
Here's my first completed unit trudging its way through the enemy's fire
In the end I based the casualty group on a gaming base twice its usual width or 6 figures wide rather than 3 and extended the depth a little to allow for the prone figures

Very evocative 8) :-*
The cotton wool and blood splats certainly add to the overall effect.
cheers

Wow! Gruesome, but rather good :)
-
Great work. How did you do the blood?
-
Those fellows are gonna be hurting in the morning! lol Excellently done!
-
Very clever indeed - wire and superglue for the splats?
-
I reckon it's 'tufts' painted red :)
cheers
James

Thanks gents
tufts paited red for short bits but the longer splats are coutresy of LLewelyn my Golden Retriever :)

Great paintwork on some fantastic, well thought out, conversions.
Love the blood.
Very clever!

Gore and brilliant! :)
-
Brilliant! It's like Sam Peckinpah's own wargames table lol
-
Awesome stuff!
-
How amazing!
Not just the animation but the overall standard of painting as well.
As you've got 10,000 15mm I look forward to seeing your 28mm army expanding towards 10,000 as well.
The only trouble with 28mm figures, particularly good quality ones like Calpe, Perry and Front Rank is that they almost demand a paint-job like you've achieved so well.
I look forward to seeing more your next battalion.
