Title: Deadlands AAR Assualt on the New Bank of Old Town
Post by: thebinmann on 06 October 2012, 09:25:54 PM: To kick off my new Deadlands gaming I decided to run a smallish attack on a town

Sadly I had left my Deadlands Poker Decks in the UK so I was down to the fitting Legends of the Od West Deck and the not so fitting Nintendo Deck

Mad Lil Had decided to pull her Crew together and storm the Old Town Bank, she had recently met the McFadden bys, mad scientists from back East so she took the younger only for the ride with his new toy!

Old Town was lively with a meeting of the Vigilance Committee, chaperoned by «The Undertaker and Randy Jones. The Sheriff, Paddy Pants Down, was also in town with his deputies and topping over were a group of wiley Texas rangers.

Standing watch on the Gallows were a posse of deputised townies

Lil's Boys were set up in the bank with MacFadden outside ready to have his toy smash through the wall (in game terms only these posses and the deputised townies pn the gallows had action cards in the first round, others would activate on pre determined rolls adjusted for noise).

What's that noise, the posse notices something is up!

Lil's Crew start shifting the gold, but this stirs the Rangers,

Meanwhile Slippery Pete sees the bandist move out of the bank, so slips into his hunting gear draws the bead and squeezes off a round that sees the bandist head explode like a.... grape (but it's enough to make him eat dirt). Then it all kicks off!

The Buffalo Hunters holed up above the Dry Goods Store swing into action, the Deputies exit the Jail Building and even Paddy Pants down stop in the middle of what he was doing to see wants up....

The Committe throw off thier outer clothes in a Bucks Fizzesque move to reveal their true nature, they were uncover agest that had been tipped off by an insider ver in Lil's camp!

The carnage starts!

Lil senses it's going pear shaped so does a runner!

I have a feeling I got them either in Glasgow or London, it a traditional games shop, I'll send you yhe details and I'm sure you'll find them somewhere.
