Seem to be pics up of the new DUST fliers and the artwork for the Icarus expansion seems to show an idea for the US variant. Interesting concepts, though possibly a little too futuristic. Beautiful paintwork though, wow.

I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these! Reminds me of the old Nitto SF3D Fledermaus model. Love the Quonset huts! Those will be useful in a lot of different gaming systems.
-
Lovely paint work as usual by the Dust fellows! And that flier looks ace....apart from the big straw sticking out of the front!! The cannons nearly longer than the plane!!!!!
-
I believe that is supposed to be a 7.5cm a.t. gun. It looks about right when compared to the ones mounted on the wartime HS-129b ground attack aircraft.
-
Here's an example. I believe this is th Italeri 1/72 scale model.
-
I'll be getting some of those buildings!
Brian

They look great. Some nice new additions to the range coming out.The buildings are on my list to buy too.
-
Yep the gun is a 75mm gun off a Panzer IVH - those German planes were tank killers
-
so here's that other pic of the American flyer..suppose it's quite close to what we'll see if it is on the box art?

looks a lot like a cut down P38:

I don't think I like the american flyer.
-
not sure..I've always thought there was something a bit futuristic about the Lightning body shape, and a nice counterpoint to the German design
but where's the Typhoon re-vamp that I want to see?
-
One of the Dust comics has a nice pic of a Typhoon-ish type RAF fighter.

The BoW post about this managed to make me laugh with the mythology comment -- nothing new there otherwise:

It's easire to wash oil off of skin than out of clothing.
-
I bet those cockpit washes are a sight to see!

Those Axis jets are hot, can't wait to pick up some of those things.
-
Remember guys, while some of you may think the German stuff looks a bit too futuristic...the Germans were way ahead in aircraft design, and had stuff like that already on the drawing board back in the actual WW2 era.

I think it looks very reasonable - and in line with the Luftwaffe's prototypes and designs.

I forgot what a good-looking plane the P-38 was!
-
Oh I love the p-38, by grandpa piloted one in the pacific theater.
-
Will be buying these :) Cracking!
-
The horten was more than just on the drawing board, that beautiful piece of German engineering was flying, I believe 1 was the tester, but the 2nd never got a chance.
-
Lovely lines on those German fliers. They've done a great job on imagining how late-war designs could have advanced post '45, I think.

Yep NASA own it, stored in boxes until recently.
