Title: 1/43 scale accessories
Post by: MuleSkinner on 12 March 2008, 12:46:54 PM
i think this question may have been asked before and if it has i apologise to everyone, but i wanted to ask if the accessories on the S & D Models site will be ok to use with 28mm figures or will they be too big and look stupid.
i dont mind if they are only slightly larger as some of the pieces would be excellent for my laundry, carpenters, blacksmiths etc.

S gauge (1/64) is more accurate for 28's. However looking at the items in S & D's listing, you could probably pick and choose carefully. There's no standard size for things like anvils in the real world. I'd be cautious of things that are stood up directly to a figure (the sawhorse might look overly large for example) but items like lanterns, jugs, etc. might just seem like larger versions of the same thing. Plus, if you figs are large the difference will be even less.

yeah there's some nice stuff on this site, but my bad, i should have stated that i want it for western games whereas this stuff is better suited for pulp style games, (except for the cactus).
i'm mostly looking for props like pots and pans and tin bath tubs etc.
thanx anyways guys  :)
