I have to ask the same question.

Has anyone bought or sen the new Dark Ages buildings in person?

Especially the Norman Buildings?

I saw these at Vapnartak - they had the kits on the stand and some built-up examples. The detail did appear to be a little bit flat-looking, especially compared to what I am used to scratch-building stuff.However, the overall effect is actually very nice, and I rather suspect that a bit of time spent drybrushing and adding tiny details would yield some stunning terrain at a fairly low initial outcome.
