Title: Fallout in 28mm (Updated 14.11.12, Pg.3)
Post by: Mr.Marx on 31 October 2012, 11:29:10 PM
Hey All,

I got some models in the post last night, and have got 2 of them painted up within about 18 hours. That's damned good going for me.

Anyway, yeah. This is a miniature of my character from Fallout: New Vegas - John Hattenguns.

Ive plonked up some other details on my blog, you know, if any of you are interested.

Anyone else had a bash at making their Fallout/Video-Game characters in miniature?

Nice job there! Is that a Brother Vinni figure?

You know, that's actually a really good idea!
I don't game post-apoc, but there's nothing stopping me doing it with my Skyrim character.  ;)

Yes it's an Enclave soldier (or Ant armour) by Brother Vinni

@Mr.Marx, no I've not made my characters from Fallout because a) I've too many, b) I change gear too often and c) I'm really concentrating on factions

Love your guy though and nice Anti-Materiel rifle!

Thanks for the heads up!

My first introduction to the series was Fallout 2, so I always have liked the Enclave.
They just make such great villains!  :D
And their brief appearance in New Vagas was just excellent!

Started with 3 myself, loved the Enclave in that, also loved the Remnants in NV.

DAYUMM, that is a great model!
Would love to have seen a more dynamic pose though. Walking forward, arms raised and firing lasers.

From Mr.Marx's blog:
"It the toy that comes free with the VHS version of the film 'The Iron Giant' with a new head sculpted on out of greenstuff."

Mr Marx, how come you're not using the Brother Vinni Enclave for your Enclave? Is it purely cost?

I've only recently touched these models up and rebased them, but I actually painted them about 2 years ago.

If Brother Vinni ever does any additional poses and/or arm/weapon variants you can be quite sure that I'll have a squad of them together before you can say "Dear old friends, remember Navarro".

Hey emperorpenguin. I don't know the maker I'm afraid. He's a Saxon bowman of some verity, but that's all I know.

Just kidding! Very nice paintjob on the figure and same goes for all the rest. I think you have a nice collection already!
