Like Prof.Witchheimer I have started my Ungern-Sternberg forces too. They are not as well painted, but here is what I have painted so far :

Mongols

And...
the Baron...

I still have more troops, officers and machine guns to paint... Then it will be over !

I think they look fantastic! The Baron's horse in particular really impressive. The only thing I don't like is the basing, but that may be more a preference thing. Lovely job!
-
Awesome! I particularly like the Baron and the T´baikal Cossacks! Another period I wanted to tackle ever since I got "Corto Maltese in Siberia"...
-
Lovely figures! I'm envious!
-
I think they look great.
Impressive and beautiful force you have.
I also like the Partizans.

Cool! Is that the same Toys R Us train? I must go there soon!

Love the painted figures - and the train - there's so much inspiration here and so little time!
-
Thanks. Yes this is the Toys R Us train. The sandbags were made from FIMO, modelling clay you harden in your oven. Fingerprints give the texture.
The train is meant to be an early train of Semenov's forces. Using plasticard and more dexterity than I have, you could turn it into a true armoured train.

For those who can read french there is an 8-page article on Semenov and Ungern in last Vae Victis Hors Serie 5, with plenty of pictures of Copplestone minis.
