Just finished painting a Billboard...really fun to do some scenery once in a while.

Pretty cool idea!

You should do more scenery more of the time! Really nice! Can't really read the writing at that angle, any chance of a second shot head on?

Very nice.
Could you please tell us what you used for the supports?

The weathering on your terrain piece looks awesome. Should be quite useful in a number of games. Thanks for sharing.

One could debate if after a zombie outbreak there would be time to print these huge posters let alone find some poor guy to go out and glue them to billboards.
Nevertheless I love it !

Looks very cool. Did you scratch build or buy?

Great idea!! :)
I second the motion for an better angled picture so we can read the text.

Thanks, I'll try and take a closeup and post it tonight.

You've got a point there. Maybe it's right after the scientists discover the different stages of the Zombie Plague, but right before everything really turn bad/ hopeless. Having said that, the poster was originally created for Warhammer 40K (found it while searching for 40K propaganda posters), so realism isn't a big thing...just send some dumb disposable bastard to glue all the posters to billboards.

We've got a winner! Yes it's from Pardulon...they've got some great postapocalyptic scenery for sale, I'm a bit of a fan. Every time I go to Crisis I buy some stuff.

Thank you very much! The weathering on the poster is done by crumpling the paper before sticking it to the Billboard and then using some washes to add the discoloration. The rust is done with MIG pigments and Modelmates Rust Effect underneath.
Edit: I've just taken a picture (hopefully it's readable now):

Great looking billboard! Glad you posted the close up and glad the URL to Pardulon was posted!
-
The billboard looks great, BUT!!!
It makes no sense to have this much small text on a Billboard that is supposed to be seen from afar by passing motorists or pedestrians; This "advertising" would work better as a hand-out flier or magazine ad :)

Thanks. I really recommend Pardulon, they make some really nice scenery.

Ha, you've got a point there. I know this poster is anything but realistic, but it's still a fun piece of scenery and that's why I made one. I'm planning on buying one or two more Billboards and use one of the few Fallout posters I have on my computer. I already have another Billboard that I made myself a while ago that has a Nuka Cola poster on it, so it'll be fitting to use more Fallout stuff.
