Holy moly those look nice! Multi part sprues for variety!
They'll work nice for Future Wars or Postapocalyptic... but I decided to post them here.
-
Lovely figures but I don't think they're plastic though.

Nope, nice but sure they are metal too
-
These are fantastic. And you can make a varied squad with them. I'll own them someday.
-
Ah, well the second pic made me think they were plastics but I guess they've been primed in grey. The first pic certainly looks metal.
So they're each 4 pound then? That's expensive for a squad if they're one per frame!
Any idea how many per?
EDIT Never mind... it looks like the Kolony ones are 3 per... so likely something similar...

A lad on Frothers did some calculations, not sure if they are right..too early in morning here in blighty ;D
"Heads come in 20's.
Legs and torso's in fives.
If that is the same for these you will be able to make sets of five for £13.50 with 15 heads left over.
Or essentially around £10 for five"

I'm all over these. Great figs.

That would be me.
If you look at their online store for the latest legs and torso sets they have done for the Kolony militia (I think) they are sold in a leg set and torso set each for £4.50.
The head sets are around the same price but you get 20 heads. So you are essentially going to split that down by four. Personally I am definitely going to get some. I'd be interested to see if the GW cadian heads work on these as I have a ton kicking around. If not the new ones look very nice as well so will probably order some of those too!

Latest email and blog entry:
Hello
This weekend at Warfare sees the launch of the first packs of our 28mm Near Future range. These will be available from the Tablescape stand along with our other products.
The first release is a selection of sprues that enable you to build squads of well equipped troops complete with assault weapons, saw's and anti-tank missiles. They have been designed as next generation infantry that could be used to represent any nations armed security forces.
The sprues are split into separate torsos, legs and heads that give you endless combinations of poses. As usual the sprues have been modelled into scenic rubble which can be used to decorate your bases and are all available separately. They have been designed to work with our Kolony sprues and fit nicely with 'heroic scaled' plastic figures which will please all the converters out there.
They will be available to buy on our website next week so keep visiting our blog for painted examples over the coming week to two.
The sprues are £4.50 + postage
Cheers
Simon and Lisa

Will defo get some.
The only issue I'm gunna have is what purpose/faction/background they will suit with my other sci fi stuff. ::)
-
Wait till you see the new heavy trooper heads too.... :-*
-
I would have thought Cadian heads would work. I've seen loads of IG with Pig Iron heads so I can't see why it wouldn't work the other way round.
-
These are now available:
http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/
Squad pack sets you back £20 for a 10 man squad. Not too bad I think considering that makes them £2 a pop for multi-part models and considering the metal sprues are sculpted for use on bases.
-
The Pig Iron blog now links to a video review of them, if you wanted to see them again.
-
Some new sculpts:
