Any suggestions on how to scratch-build a hookah? :-I

I would say green stuff, some rod and some wire.
Alternatively small beads could serve for the lumpy bits.

Tribeads might come in handy for the knobby parts.

Pay them the fee they ask and the rest follows quite naturally. Payment upfront or after services rendered varies according to the provider or so I'm lead to believe.

Yep I'd recommend beads on a pin, with wire for the tubing.

Just go to your local head shop and buy one...thats what I did...
...oooohhh...you mean a miniature one.....cant help you there... lol
