Title: Photos from our first LOTHS game
Post by: 6mmfan on 21 March 2008, 06:19:09 AM
Heres a few pictures from our first game (more on the LotHighSeas yahoo group). We played with Privateers (me) vs Pirates (Ben) and the scenario was Capture the ship. The pirates were successful and wiped out half my crew. Luckily it wasn't part of a campaign. :)

Hand to hand combat (which we spent most of the game doing)

Most impressive. I really like the church. Presumably scratchbuilt. A very nice job indeed :)

Thanks for the comments.

Yes the church is scratchbuilt.I also use that town for my wild west games and there should be some pictures in the forum here with the town. The wharfs and boxes are mostly from Old Crow but I'm not sure about the stone wharf, as my friend got it in Italy.

I think this looks fantastic. I recognise those roads they are form the Christmas village range. Picked some up late last year. Now I know what to do with them

I really like the gaming table. Many good looking details and of course some very good painted figures on it  :)

The roads are a stone pattern plastic card which I got from Plastruct. I made all those roads with one pack of 2 sheets (about 6ft worth). It should be this one here

The Easter Island heads are from Eureka but I dont know if the have them on their website yet.

Cheers

Great stuff! Looks like a very enjoyable game.

I particularly like the open packing cases 8)

Are they home-made or bought?

You can never have too much junk lying around for use as cover/obstacles  :)

Hi

Gluteus Maximus- I agree. The open packing cases are from Old Crow under trader town IIRC

Malamute - The roofs are plastic card from plastruct and I think are G scale tiles.
