Title: Well lookie what I found here...
Post by: superflytnt on November 25, 2012, 06:07:08 PM
I've been a lurker for a while, brought here primarily by my newfound addiction to Strange Aeons. Thanks to the fine folks here, I'm now looking at Fallout, Chaos in Carpathia, and .45 Adventures.

I used to write extensively about "hobby board games" at my blog, but after being disenchanted with their inability to really capture a narrative and explore it, I stumbled upon Strange Aeons and immediately saw the brilliance. It's like a tremendously time consuming and expensive 3D tactical interactive movie.

I'm not sure I'll ever go back to playing one-offs after seeing what kind of stories and adventures are generated from persistent, campaign style games like these.

Thanks to all for the help!

It's a bit late for introductions isn't it superflynt  ;)
Only kidding.

My experience of strange aeons has led me towards .45 adventure too. Ordered the rule book Thursday night... Don't tell the guys on the strange Aeons board tho... They might kick me out.

It's never too late to announce one's self, especially since the butler keeps forgetting my name!
