Sometime in the not too distant future, a group of Chechen Terrorists calling themselves the 'Brotherhood of Blood', kidnaps several hostages including a member of parliament and is cornered in a run-down industrial area of Moscow. As the Police seal off the area troops from the OMON Special Purpose Police Squad arrive along with a team from the F.S.B.
Its eight o'clock in the evening and the terrorists have issued their demands and if these are not met they have threatened to kill all the hostages by Midnight. The Police confirm that the Terrorists have taken five hostages and have holed up in the buildings in the area. There is believed to be 10-15 Chechen fighters.
With no time to lose, 4 OMON teams and 3 FSB agents move in to rescue the hostages...

The Terrorist leader prepares his men for the Russian assault...
The Russian units came in from opposites sides of the table in two groups. The northern group, with two OMON teams and the FSB agents quickly stormed a large three storey apartment block...

Without warning shots ring out and a Chechen sniper is spotted...
As they enter the building shots ring out as a Chechen terrorist takes aim with his AK. His burst of fire misses and in the return fire one of the OMON soldiers hits him in the head, killing him instantly. As one OMON team storms the house the FSB rush into the other block while the second OMON team waits outside giving covering fire...

FSB Agent Chuikovka rushes into the ground floor... He meets a Chechen who has just come in the front door of the building. The FSB agent gets the drop and a burst of fire from his SMG sees the Chechen shot in the chest and his body rolls back out the door and down the steps...

Meanwhile at the south side of the area the other two OMON teams make their way in. They soon come under fire from terrorists in a brickworks and as one team begins a firefight with them, another sneaks around behind them...

While the Terrorists are busy firing at Beta Team, Alpha manage to successfully sneak up on them from behind...
As well as finding two terrorists, Alpha team also find the first hostage. With the Terrorists distracted firing at the other OMON team, Alpha burst into the room guns blazing. One terrorist is hit but manages to run away the other is badly wounded in the leg and drops to the ground. While one OMON trooper covers the main door, another frees the hostage while the third executes the terrorist with a shot to the head...
Meanwhile back on the North side, one OMON team has finally made it to the third floor of the house. Their they find a terrorist and a female hostage. As they burst into the room the Chechen has the drop on them, but the hostage hits him accross the head with her shoe! As he is distracted one of the OMON teams drops him with a single shot to the chest.
Two hostages rescued!

The table mid-game... Not a soul to be seen.
Just after rescuing Miska the OMON team comes under fire from a Chechen on the roof of the factory opposite in the centre of the area. One of the FSB agents tries to take a shot at him with his large calibre pistol... The FSB agent pulls off the miraculous shot and kills the sniper with a round to the chest. His body drops into the street below.
Over on the South side the OMON begin to move toward the factory in the centre. As Alpha team rush accross the street, a Chechen with a PKM opens fire with a long burst. One of the OMON troopers is killed by a bullet to the groin... :blink:

The Chechen machine gunner...
Luckily his machine gun jams during this burst and fire from Beta Team wounds him badly enough that he flees from his firing position. Both teams on the South side head towards the factory...
Meanwhile on the North side, the FSB agents and an OMON team move on the factory. As the FSB rush to take cover by the factory wall, the OMON team storm the grey apartment over the road from the factory... They manage to miss with both their CS gas grenades and spent the next few moments scrambling to put on their gas masks... The final OMON team on the North side begins a long drawn out firefight with another chechen high up in an office block. He manages to kill one of the OMON team before he is hit in the eye by a bullet and killed...

FSB agents by the factory... One of them begins to think this may be a dodgy area judging by the posters...
As all the teams converge on the centre factory, Alpha team peer in the window to see the rest of the terrorist, and four more hostages... Four more? The OMON team wonders why they were told their was only five...

The FSB storm into the factory through a ruined wall and in the ensuing gun battle all of them are wounded but they kill two terrorists, as they do so Alpha Team fires in through the window killing the Terrorist leader with a shot to the head before he can push his detonator...

As the Terrorist go done the hostages flee...
With all the terrorist and their leader dead in the factory it just remains to round up the hostages. Beta Team enter the factory yard to get them when one notices that the old womans hair is hanging off... Its a wig... and whats more her bag of shopping looks like...
BOOM!!!
Without warning the Chechen disguised as the old woman detonates, killing two other hostages, herself and wounding all three members of Beta Team...

As the dust settles, the Russians count the cost...

Two men killed in action, six more wounded and two dead hostages. Not a good day... But the terrorist group has been eliminated...

No I dont sleep... We have a 9 month old baby who is teething! Plus I leanrt to paint quick years ago... :D
